Writing all of these posts has reminded me that I haven’t done a lot of things, like open some of my manga. Yes, some of it is still wrapped up in shiny plastic, but not for long! Another thing that I haven’t done is listen to any of the BLCDs I bought. I make it sound like that’s a lot, but it’s only two and one of them isn’t even a full drama

Recently I’ve been looking for manga to read where the characters have some sort of animal characteristic. I thought that while searching, I would find some omegaverse story, but then I fell into the demon void. On the list of demon stories I read was MADK. It sounded familiar and it turns out it was in my e-library. OH BOY

I was on a bit of a manga reading spree earlier this month and since Futekiya had some nice titles on the front page, I thought, why not? I haven’t really read another BL title with a fudanshi as the main character (although I’ve seen one that was pretty popular, just never picked it up myself) so I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into.

I’m not sure how to express how this series made me feel in just a quick sentence, so here’s this post instead

You know what feels great? Logging into Goodreads and finding that I am 19 books ahead of “schedule”. What schedule? The one that Goodreads apparently made where I will successfully read 120 books this year. I am so on top of this that I am sooooo tempted to make that number bigger but I’m only just stopping myself because, what if I go into a slump?! It’s only February! Sadly, I’ve yet to figure out how to transfer all of the feels into blog posts because I think I’ve only reviewed (with this post out now) like three books this year?!

I really need to get myself together. Also, this is a NetGalley title, which means I received a free (temporary) copy in exchange for a review

I’m not usually a big fan of an older drawing style, which is why I haven’t read titles like X, which I own but have just been collecting dust on my shelves. So I’m not sure what exactly made me pick this title up. I mean, there was something that I found really cute about the composition I suppose, and ok, that title, EPIC

I was not prepared for this book

I did my laundry like the good adult I am, which means it’s time to reward myself, and what better way than to start sharing some of my manga reads of the year! I did run a poll a few days ago, asking if you guys would like to see me review the manga I didn’t enjoy as well as series like this one (that I squealed at) and the majority said yes, so I’ll be doing that from now on too.
