Hey guys! Can you believe I haven’t read a BL title since around the beginning of the year I IMAGINE. I know, it’s like a crime! But for some reason, nothing has really caught my attention outside of a few webcomics I’ve been “keeping track of” (aka I bookmarked them months ago and haven’t returned to them). So to remedy this, I actually went to this website called Edelweiss, which works similarly to Netgalley but has a hint of Goodreads
Basically, I can go and request some books to read and then I review them for the publishers. I actually found That Blue Sky Feeling on there and wow, I really enjoyed it!
Why did I not read this sooner?! Ok, so I’ve actually stumbled upon this manga a lot of times because the cover is so eye-catching, just look at that leg (mmm) but for some reason, I’ve never read it? But today I did! As an FYI, this mangaka also did Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki, which I could have sworn I reviewed but I can’t find it, what kind of a fujoshi am I?! Keeping all that sexy to myself, I’VE FAILED YOU ALL
As I was browsing the shelves at Barnes and Noble, I found myself instantly drawn to a small orange book (no it wasn’t Icha Icha…) and the sans serif white font displaying the title Aldnoah Zero 1 brought an influx of memories.
Being the completely sane and non-emotional wretch that I am, I immediately nabbed the copy and purchased it without checking the price, which I probably should have done…
Yesterday (while browsing on Twitter) I came up with a post by @Yaoicon about yaoi/BL manga concerning couples with children. At first, I was confused, thinking they meant Mpreg (which I’m not really a fan of) but then I figured it probably meant ‘single fathers’ so I enthusiastically answered with Only Serious About You (a manga I totally recommend because it’s ADORABLE)
For my first post, I have decided to talk about a manga I just re-read.
I recently made an MAL account and I was trying to figure out what anime and manga I had watched. I had some bookmarks so I transferred those. For some reason, I started to wonder if I ever finished Lucky Number 13, especially since there was an update on my account (I have accounts everywhere and forget about them later).
