YouTube Video #4: Trying Out AI: The Somnium Files

Remember when Steam had a sale on Japanese games a few weeks back and I asked you all for recommendations because I wanted to play something new? WELL, thank you again for all the recommendations! I actually ended up getting more than I was planning but that’s all good because my personal library was very lacking. As for the no news on the gaming front – May was pretty hectic but you bet I’ve been sitting down with a few of these to test my non-existent skills

And the first one on the list was AI: The Somnium Files because quite a few of you mentioned that it was a good game!

Yesterday ended up being a kind of lazy day for me, but right before heading to bed, I thought, maybe I should watch some anime. I ended up finally finishing Yashahime and WOAH, when will season two be out?! But after this my only options were to rewatch something or check something new out. And I did, this anime, this HILARIOUS show, I can’t even begin to say how much I berate old me for not starting this sooner!!

I could have honestly watched even more last night but I wanted to write out a first impression before I devoured the series so I controlled myself. But only barely, I couldn’t help but, eherm, check out how many fanfiction stories were under the Haiji and Kakeru tag, it needs MOAR

Finally watching demon slayer! – First impression (ep 1-7)

I recently heard that there’s going to be a Demon Slayer movie in theatres this weekend, courtesy of my brother who apparently enjoys this series more than JJK (gasp!). He asked if I wanted to go watch it and like all the anime movies that have come out, I said I wouldn’t miss it (granted, I may have missed a few but when I know about them I try to make them!). Next thing I know, he’s pulling up the anime because I can’t just show up at the theatre without having watched the series!

I think I can. I’ve done it before for Psycho Pass but I was in the mood to watch some anime and I’ve only heard good things about this series. So I buckled down to finally watch Demon Slayer!

Cherry Power! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! – Manga and Live Action First Impression

Last night I decided to watch some anime. I managed to catch up with Yashahime and while I was browsing for another fall 2020 show to start, I noticed that there was a liveaction listed with the anime. I knew that Crunchyroll has had liveactions for a while now, but I’ve never been interested in checking any out since they tend to be too embarrassing for me. But I’ve also always seen them in their own category, why was this one here? And, more importantly, why were there TWO GUYS on the cover?!

watch or pass? Yashahime (ep 1-6)

I was really excited about this series ever since I heard about it earlier this year. Inuyasha was my gateway anime and to see it back…part of me couldn’t believe it and the other was like BRING IT. But it’s perhaps because I watched Inuyasha that I had certain expectations. One of my favorite episodes in Inuyasha is the first because it really catches you in one go. You know the story, you know the characters, there’s magic, and cute dog ears. Yashahime, however…well, let’s see. Spoilers (up to ep 6)

Burn the Witch (ep 1): I Want to Get Married

While browsing Crunchyroll the other week, aside from checking out Noblesse and Yashahime, another show that caught my attention (but that I chose to ignore, or at least attempt to) was Burn the Witch. The cover just looked so nice and it was about witches and maybe I was really curious. Two weeks later and I caved
