It’s now week four of Blaugust, which means the topic is “staying motivated”, but before I make posts (or at least one post) about that, today is Fanfiction Appreciation Day. And I LOVE fanfiction and think it’s about time I did another post that I can slip into the fanfiction category!! The last time I celebrated this event on the blog was back in 2016 and I pretty much detailed my journey into fanfiction. This time…well, let’s see where I free-write into

[Fanfiction] Do you still read stories if they haven’t updated in forever?

It’s kind of weird. When I saw that I wouldn’t have class on Monday (yesterday), I was stressing out. 6 days at home with nothing to do?! I tried to watch some anime but like always, I found it hard to decide what to watch (and so I ended up watching nothing, LOL). Instead, I found myself on AO3 and before I knew it I was reading some really long stories. I actually wrote about one of those stories the other day (Hey Lover by wasterella). Then yesterday (and the day before) I was reading Catch me, sweetheart by punk_mikasa and it got me thinking about incomplete stories

Do you guys ever start reading something and it’s only going to be a quick read? You’re only going to read two chapters a day, make it last, enjoy it, and then BAM, it’s been 24 hours, no sleep, no food, only yaoi hydration, and how am I still able to produce tears?!

Fangirling About In Carcere: Libertà Condizionale (Chapters 21-30) by Slaine

Hey guys! So it’s been a while since I last wrote up a fanfiction “review” (more like me fangirling honestly) and I’ve especially been meaning to post about In Carcere again, and well, here I am (lol)

In Carcere is an AZ fanfiction by Slaine featuring Inaho and Slaine as the main couple. It follows canon events but it’s set after season 2 where Slaine is a prisoner and Inaho his jailor. I know I’ve said this before but this is my s3 for Aldnoah Zero. There are 33 chapters so far and still the story is not over (yessss)

6+ Years of Fanfiction (Let’s Appreciate Some Authors!)

This is a post I’ve been meaning to write since a while ago but never really got around to finishing because my memory is so bad but since today is Fanfiction Appreciation Day I thought, what better timing? Basically, we’re going to go on a trip to my younger years, how I encountered fanfiction and where it stands in my life now. I’ll also be recommending some of my favorite stories so get those tabs ready!!
