With the “first season” completed and that very informative episode 15, I thought it was time to babble about this show again. And what better way to do that then to watch it all from…kind of the beginning. You see, I told my brother that we finally got answers in one episode and we decided to binge watch until that point (since he’d dropped for a while), and it’s such a different experienceContinue reading A Mini-Yashahime Marathon (Ep 1-15) – So Many Answers!!
I was really excited about this series ever since I heard about it earlier this year. Inuyasha was my gateway anime and to see it back…part of me couldn’t believe it and the other was like BRING IT. But it’s perhaps because I watched Inuyasha that I had certain expectations. One of my favorite episodes in Inuyasha is the first because it really catches you in one go. You know the story, you know the characters, there’s magic, and cute dog ears. Yashahime, however…well, let’s see. Spoilers (up to ep 6)Continue reading watch or pass? Yashahime (ep 1-6)
The nice thing about being behind on an anime is that slower episodes like this one don’t feel so torturous. That said, I did watch this one soon after it came out so I FELT the TORTURE. Spoilers from here on out. Seriously, when are we going to get a little more?! Who knew Takahashi-sensei had it in herContinue reading Yashahime (ep 4): When the Cliffhangers Are Too Much!!
I’ve been trying to keep up with the series and OH BOY, OHHHH BOY. But before I start screaming about the events in episode 4, maybe I should get through episode 3 first. Spoilers moving forwardContinue reading Yashahime (ep 3): Through the Rainbow Corridor
I’ve made it! At least this far. I was pretty sure I’d be able to watch more before the month ended but once it started to end, I thought I wouldn’t even be able to get through the first book!Continue reading [Review] Legend of Korra, Book 1: Air (Netflix)
While browsing Crunchyroll the other week, aside from checking out Noblesse and Yashahime, another show that caught my attention (but that I chose to ignore, or at least attempt to) was Burn the Witch. The cover just looked so nice and it was about witches and maybe I was really curious. Two weeks later and I cavedContinue reading Burn the Witch (ep 1): I Want to Get Married
