Hey everyone and welcome back to this corner of the internet!
It wasn’t really my intention to host the showcase this year (remember I said I’d be taking a break for a while?) But after seeing Jon asking for help and really, just me missing the blogosphere, I thought why not?! What’s more, I’ve been not as busy with my classes done (now I’m just working and it can get boring since corona traffic is still low). Obviously, IT WAS A SIGN. So now I’m here!! How has everyone been, please let me know~
But that’s not what you’re all here for. EHERM. As many #theJCS veteran knows, the Jon Creator Showcase (JCS) is an online community event originally created by Jon (hence the title) that is open to all creatives from bloggers, youtubers, podcasters, fancreators and more! Each month a different host, uhm, hosts the showcase on their desired platform and presents a plethora of creative work from all realms of the internet. Well, as long as they get submissions! Which is where you all come in
Last month was hosted by RedBlinkey over at Iniksbane’s blog Search of No. 9 so if you haven’t checked that post out, do so now!! The thing I love about having different hosts each month is that everyone has a unique way of presenting the showcase and RedBlinkey doesn’t disappoint!
And since I’m hosting April’s showcase, I am (nicely) demanding submissions – submit something you created in March that you are proud of. It can be a reviews, an essay, an original or fanfiction story, art, crafts, video, etc. – anything that you’d like to share with the community! And I know I’m an anime blogger but you don’t have to be to participate. Do you blog about books, games, dramas? Don’t have a blog or other platform? Do you just throw your thoughts or drabbles into a Twitter thread or Facebook post? That’s fine! Throw it all at me, I want to view it all!!
So you’ve decided it’s in your best interest to submit something, so what next? How does that work?
Submit it to me via Twitter (this is IMP!) using the tag #theJCS and tagging my blog’s twitter account @anerdyfujocries (same as my blog). Please make sure you use these tags and handle, otherwise I may miss your submission. But Jon and I are pretty good about finding stray submissions though so I wouldn’t worry too much!
Also, to make sure to spread the word and get even more submissions, also tag at least three others to join in the fun! Remember thy neighbor, especially the little bloggers! And if you can’t think of who to tag anymore because everyone has already been tagged, let me know and I’ll hunt someone down…
I will be taking submissions until April 30th so you all have literally until the last day of the month to submit something. Also, I’ve been know to tag people to remind them to submit something so if you get tired of me, just let me know and I’ll stop tagging you
As you can see I’m a little, uhm, OBSESSED with Jujutsu Kaisen and I don’t usually do this – I like to keep one submission per person – BUT if you want to submit something JJK related, you can double dip!! And this submission doesn’t even have to be made in March. It can be an April post and I will share it to hell and back!!
So, as long as one of your submissions is related to JJK, you can submit something twice~
Phew, I think that’s all the information I need to give out?! If anyone has any questions, feel free to drop them below or tag me on Twitter. Can’t wait to see what you all have in store for me for this showcase. Now then, the tweet that begins it all…!
