Hey guys! So it’s been awhile since I was nominated for something and by that I mean that I sat down to do one. I know I’ve got like 2 that have been lost in the void of my blog Orz If I ever find them I’ll do them because they’re fun to do~
A big thanks to Suzy’s Cozy World for the nomination! Definitely go check out her blog (and her answers to her nomination) for some bookish content. By the way, your blog is my aesthetic! So pretty and organized 😀
The Rules:
#1 – Share the link of the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
#2 – Answer the questions.
#3 – In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 8-13 people for the same award.
#4 – Ask them 3 questions.
Q. Which are the 10 books (I know, 10 it’s not even enough, but we have to have limits here, people!) that were really important for you (and if you want to say the whys too, let’s do it!)?
Oh! Artemis Fowl (I just loved Artemis and how he was such an antihero), Skip Beat (my #1 female main character, she’s so precious!), The Goblin Wood (I just felt for Makenna, who only ever found her place among goblins, creatures of a different race), Acheron (I loved how Acheron stood up after all the crap he went through. Warning, lots of sensitive content here), No. 6 (my first light novel plus I loved the shounen ai feels), Blood Alone (I just really like this one, it fits my aesthetic and it’s a nice combo of fantasy and slice of life), Gone Girl (the anti hero stuff again. Amy was amazing), Lying About Hitler (history is my worst subject! and I always find it hard to get into history books but this was so interesting and made me question so many things in history and what a historian does), Lighter Than My Shadow (an amazing autobiographical comic about eating disorders, body image, bullying, and other sensitive topics that should be talked about. Very relatable), AND…
I originally had Throne of Glass on the list but I’m going to scratch it because I recently read Call Me By Your Name and OH YEAH. That one totally dethroned ToG. I love it because it’s such a universal read to me but it’s also lgbtq and just the content is amazing to me
Q. The worst reading of this year?
Oh man…this is tough. Let me check my Goodreads account, lol! It’s a tie between Christmas Turkeys by Roger Kerrison and Ecuador, At Last by Philip Peereboom. I usually consider a book a bad read if I just don’t enjoy it or if I feel it didn’t do whatever it set out to do (or should do for its genre). For Christmas Turkeys, I found the writing to be rather well done, but there was just one element that made it feel like a rape fantasy and that really turned me off. Especially the treatment of women in the book. And Ecuador, At Last was just a miss with me. It was really boring and there were multiple POVs that I feel didn’t amount to anything in my eyes.
Q. The best author new for you of this year?
I’m kind of a lot obsessed with Call Me By Your Name so I’d automatically answer Andre Aciman but I haven’t actually read any of his other books. But there’s also a lot of other new authors I really enjoyed like Katie Green (Lighter Than My Shadow), Leigh Bardugo (The Language of Thorns), Mariko Tamaki and Jillian Tamaki (This One Summer), Nidhi Chanani (Pashmina), and I’m sure many others
My Nominees – Haha, always the hard part. Let’s see…
And my questions are…
- If you could turn into any mythical creature, which would you be and why? And what would you do as this mythical creature?
- Oh no! It’s the zombie apocalypse! What are your weapons of choice (up to 3 that you can realistically carry around) and what 3 bloggers would be on your survival team? Yes I’m thinking something similar to L4D
- Related to Q2, what is your zombie apocalypse team survival playlist? Add as many or few songs as you’d like!
Like always, I highly encourage detailed responses, lol!
Again, thank you Suzy’s Cozy World for the nomination! And hope my nominees have fun with these questions ^^
OMG! These questions rock! Thank you so so much!

First off: congratulations! Apperently WordPress made me unfollow you for some weird reason. When I saw you nominated me, I was wondering why your post did not show up in my reader. Now I know why. Sorry I did not notice this sooner, but I immediately corrected it 😊 But as I said congratulations. You run a fun blog, and I always appreciate your comments over on my own blog. And of course thank you so much for nominating me. That is truly awesome😀 Appreciate it 😊

Congrats and thanks for the nomination. I will just answer here. 1. I would love to be a dragon. 2. Assuming I am not a dragon my weapon of choice would be a shield and crowbar combo. Lastly, my playlist for this would pretty much be angry girl rock music from the 90’s

Dragon’s are my favourite fantastical creature. Magical and physically strong. Depending on the mythology, wise as well. Can’t really beat that combo.
